Lipid profile tests
In case of hypertension cholesterol may in high levels .
غالبا يطلب فى حالات الضغط العالى
In this test patient must fasting at least 12 – 14 hrs .
يجب على المريض الصيام من 12 الى 14 ساعة قبل التحليل
Procedure:
The reagent may ready to use or must be prepared according
to the kits of the reagents .
الكاشف ممكن ان يكون جاهز للاستخدام او ييحتاج لتحضير حسب

Prepare 1 ml of reagent in each of two test tubes .
نحضر انبوبتين اختبار كل منهم 1 مللى من الكاشف
Put 10 ? of standard in one of the two tubes an mark it as
standard tube .
نضع 10 ميكرون من الاستاندارد فى احدى الانبوبتين ونكتب
عليها ستاندراد
Put 10 ? of serum in the other tube and mark it as test tube
.
نضع 10 ميكرون سيرم فى الانبوبة الاخرى ونكتب عليها اختبار
Leave for 5 minutes in water bath or for 10 minutes in room
temp.
نتركهم 5 دقائق فى حمام دافىء او 10دقائق فى حرارة الغرفة
العادية
Measure at wave length 505 nm .
القياس عند طول موجى 505
Calculation :
(Reading of test / reading of standard) x conc. Of
standard (usually 200 mg/dl)
Normal :
Less than 200 mg/dl .
الطبيعى اقل من 200
Border line 220 – 239 mg/dl . الحدود الحرجة
بين 220 -239
The high value starts from 240 .
القيم العالية بعد 240
Note :
If the reading cannot appear in the colorimeter you
should dilute the serum by 0.9% saline in ratio 1: 1
then the reading multiply x 2 . فى حلات التركيز الذى لايستطيع الجهاز قراءته يتم التخفيف الى النصف وبعد القراءة نضرب *2 2. Triglycerides test : الدهون الثلاثية
Procedure : Measure at wave length 505 nmالقياس عند 505 طول موجى Calculation : [reading of test / reading of standard] x 200 = ....... mg / dl
